The South Winds

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to families! The hotel was surprisingly quiet, which made it perfect for unwinding. The location was great, just a short walk to the beach and close to local restaurants and shops. The staff was patient and kind, and the layout of the hotel made it easy to keep an eye on the kids while still enjoying some downtime. The price was very reasonable for the quality and convenience. The rooms were always clean too! I would definitely stay here again!

Just returned from our trip here and we loved it! First time. It was extremely clean, quiet, and the apartment room was spacious. The decor was cute and relaxing. We will definitely be returning yearly.

Great hotel for a family of 5 but lacks a pool which is a must have for a perfect vacation. We knew this going in and are not faulting the hotel for this, just mentioning that all it needed for a total 5 star experience is a pool. Yes the Heritage has a pool we could use but getting in the car is not the same as walking out of your room. And the Heritage pool is super tiny. Would come back again and would recommend!

We had an excellent stay at South Winds!!! The staff is wonderfully kind and helpful! We stayed in a one bedroom suite, and it was perfect for our family of 4 - roomy, two TVs, couch, storage, and a little kitchenette. It was very clean when we arrived. The walk to the beach was super fast - right across the street. Highly recommend this hotel! We loved it and would absolutely stay here again.

The rooms (there was a small 2nd room with a door to watch tv, sit at the table to eat, etc) were clean and fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located half a block from the beach. It was a short walk to the main shopping area. We had a lovely stay and will book again l!

Clean, quiet and tasteful motel 1 block from the beach. Staff very friendly and welcoming. I am always cautious about the cleanliness of the room while on vacation and the first thing that I noticed, and was impressed with, was that the television remotes were encased in plastic wrap! Also, liked that there were 2 nice sized televisions available. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning.

Staying at the Southwinds was the best experience! Highly recommend. Beautiful rooms—all renovated and very clean. The staff is so kind and gracious—we even left my son’s favorite pillow and they shipped it to us the next day. Great location and walkable to the beach and all of the beautiful Cape May!! Can’t say enough good things about the hospitality of the staff and the spacious, clean and beautiful rooms. Will be staying here every year from here on out!
